Patzcuaro and the area surrounding Lake Patzcuaro retain a rich indigeonous history blended with the colonial traditions of the Spanish. The celebrations and festivals are very popular, usually religious and traditional, not to mention unlike any you'll find in other parts of Mexico. Remember, dates and activities may change, please ask your hotel or contact the tourism office for any questions.
