Dining in San Felipe is a mouth-watering adventure. San Felipe is especially famous for it's seafood and more so it's "Blue Shrimp" and "Fish Tacos". Rubio's Fish Taco Restaurant of California "discovered" the fish taco here in San Felipe. You'll find fish tacos and other foods at the puestos (taco stands) set up on the Blvd. Costero (malecon), the main beach road in town and they are also available at most restaurants in town. Any visit to San Felipe should include a sampling of these famous fish tacos.
San Felipe also has it's fine share of restaurants serving Mexican, Seafood, California, & Chinese dishes and even a couple steakhouses. Most restaurants & hotels serve a combination of the above. You'll even find American-style breakfasts of pancakes & omelettes.
When the sun goes down, it's time to boogie. You'll have the choice of dancing all night to DJ's and live music or enjoying the company in one of the friendly cantinas. And if bar-side conversation, billiards and football are your passion, try your luck at the foreign book, Caliente. There are also famous daytime haunts and great places to people watch with oceanviews.
