Xcalak is a population of more than 350 inhabitants on the Caribbean coast of Mexico in the municipality of Othon P. Blanco state of Quintana Roo, Mexico. Xcalak is located in the small cape called Punta Xcalak, and belongs to the National Park Arrecifes de Xcalak, located in one of the last virgin corners of the Mexican Caribbean, at the southern end of the so-called Rivera Maya, it is the last population of Mexico, bordering with Belize. The Mesoamerican reef, the second largest coral reef in the world, is located just off the coast of Xcalak and also very close to Banco Chinchorro, which is a Mexican atoll and a national reserve.

It is an excellent place for boat trips, fishing, snorkeling, diving, yoga, etc. A quiet place to disconnect. It is located 60 kilometers south of Mahahual, which is a major tourist destination for cruises.

XCL offer you three rooms with reef views, and two more in the back. We have a living room for people staying, enjoying the restaurant / upper terrace, protected by a large palapa. You can talk and listen to music in complete privacy, with a palapa / bar, just for people staying in XCL.
