Villa del Faro is a hidden oasis nestled on the Sea of Cortez with acres of private beach. The villa was created as a labor of love by artisans and architects and is an American family enterprise. It is one of the most beautiful hideaways on the East Cape of Baja Sur and is now offering exclusive and exquisite accommodations and cuisine. Villa del Faro is just 45 minutes from the shops of San Jose del Cabo and the Los Cabos Airport, an hour and a half from cosmopolitan Cabo San Lucas...but it is a world away in seclusion and serenity.

We offer four separate Casitas. Each is a private world.

Casa Alberca
Casa Alberca is a unique 1,725 square foot private villa built by artisans. It sits alongside a 50 x 50 foot mosaic tiled swimming pool with 10,000 square feet of poolside terrace and features two large fountains. This beautiful casa offers a king size canopy bed, 1-1/2 baths, private kitchen, a view balcony and large central living room that opens onto the elegant pool area.

Casita Dos
Consists of two suites with queen size beds, and full bathroom, elegant stonework, and hand carved doors. Each bedroom has an anteroom with a single bed. They share a lovely outdoor living room with refrigerator and single burner stove for coffee and hot beverages.

Casita Tres
has a main bedroom with a canopied queen bed,carved desk and chests and an anteroom which can contain a double bed or two singles. The rooms are separated by a moveable screen, and total 660 square feet. There is a huge tiled bathroom with a walk-in shower. The Casita features a beautiful hearth (firewood included) and a large sliding glass door onto a porch with two rocking chairs. The 1,700 square foot open-air living room is covered by a huge round thatch palapa with outdoor lighting. A new addition to this Casita is a totally private sun-bathing terrace that also shields guests from the wind. Every space has a view of the ocean, and the Casita is a two minute walk down to the Summer House and the acres of private beach.

Stone Beach Cottage
What better way to experience the true Baja Sur than a unique stone cottage directly on the sand - thirty feet from the water line on its own totally private beach. The walls are two feet thick, the roof is thatched and a series of arched windows look out directly on the white sand, the Sea of Cortez, flocks of pelicans and breaching humpback whales. The romantic cabin has a fireplace (with loads of driftwood for fires), a comfortable queen bed, and solar electrical light.
