Please read the following information, which describes the service we will provide and steps you need to take to make sure you are getting the most from your web page with us. We are able to do our best when we work with you as part of a team.

Once we have processed your payment, your order form is sent to your sales representative who will be in charge of having your web page designed for hosting on MEXonline.com. Part of the design process is making sure the right information and graphics are presented to effectively market your business.

Selecting the text for your ad

When you receive the confirmation of your payment, you will need to respond by sending your sales rep the text to be used on your page. For example, if you ordered a 1/1 web page (1 logo, 1 graphic on 1 page of text, 500 words) send us the needed text for that page. The words you use to market your business are very important, so please pay extra attention to this and keep in mind people using the Internet want information that is easy to understand.

The first paragraph must clearly and quickly state the nature of your business - what service do you provide and where do you do it. Focus only on the most important part of your service. You only have this one short chance to convince someone they should read further about your business, so make it count.

The second and third paragraphs should provide a little more detail about your business, and also why someone should choose you to do business with. You should describe the unique qualities about your business that would make you the best choice. Most often you can use text you already have from your existing web site.

There is no need to provide specific prices or technical details here, since you will have this information on your web site. The idea is to convince the visitor to want to know more about you, and click on the link to visit your domain site. MEXonline.com is here to drive traffic to your web site, so write your text around that idea.

Selecting the graphics for your ad

All our web pages include a logo of your business, and you can either send us this graphic as an email attachment, or let us know which one from your web site we should use. If you do not have a logo, we will create a highlighted text box with the name of your business in it.

Send or indicate which graphic(s) we should use for your page, depending on how many your page size allows. The graphic you choose should compliment your message, and it will be inserted in your page for the best effect.

All graphics must be in either GIF or JPG format, we cannot use Flash files. Logos can be a maximum width of 780 pixels (to fit the 800x600 screen size), and other graphics are limited to 50K in size, usually up to 400x300 pixels. We can edit your graphics to meet our format requirements.

Sending us your materials

When you have organized your text and graphics, the next step is to send these materials to your designated sales represenative, who will work with you to get your page designed and listed online. You will receive their contact information in your payment confirmation letter, and they will also be in touch with you to help you with the design.

If you need help contacting your sales representative, please contact the main office at "sales@mexonline.com", and we will forward your information to the proper person.

Getting your page designed and listed into the proper search directories on MEXonline.com should take only 2 weeks, and includes your chance to review the page and make any needed revisions before it goes public.
