Riviera del Sol Hotel is located on the quiet section of Playa del Carmen's famous "main-street", 5th Avenue (Quinta Avenida), the shopping street, and only 2 minutes walk from Playa del Carmen's beautiful white beaches.

Riviera del Sol Hotel has 23 spacious rooms, all tastefully furnished in a tropical Mexican style. 10 rooms have king size beds, 13 have two queen size beds, and 9 have kitchenettes. Several of the guest rooms can be connected to form two room suites. Two suites with larger balconies and a direct ocean view are available - perfect for a romantic getaway or honeymoon.

Each bed has a unique, understated mosaic featuring plants and wildlife of the region's jungles.
The fixtures in the rooms are new and modern.

The Riviera del Sol Hotel is owned and run by a family living in Playa del Carmen. The owners are on the premises daily and add their personal touch while managing the hotel. Families are welcome at the Riviera del Sol Hotel.

Every room is equipped with air conditioning, ceiling fan, private bathroom, telephone, refrigerator / mini bar, cable/TV, hairdryer and safety box. The first floor rooms open onto the beautiful Riviera del Sol swimming pool and the rooms above the first floor have a view of the Mexican Caribbean. All the guest rooms are open and sunny, with private balconies. The balconies on the third floor are shaded by palm thatched palapas.
