Rancho Ojo de Agua in Puerto Vallarta is a family owned property attended by Dr. Octavio Gonzalez, his wife Mari and son Adrian, all of them bilingual and proud of their Vallarta hospitality heritage.

Our horses are healthy, reliable and sturdy. They originally belonged to the Mexican Calvary (beautiful mixture of thoroughbred and Mexican Quarter Horses). They are well equipped with Mexican leather cushioned saddles.

• La Aguacatera Mountain Ride - A photographer's delight & owner's choice!
  Scenic mountain ride to one of the highest points in the whole bay. Ride through majestic copal trees, wildlife in it's natural habitat and colorful wildflowers.
  3 Hours, $60 US. Twice daily from 10 a.m.-1:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m.-6:00 p.m. Operates all year round.
• La Aguacatera Sunset Ride - Adventure & romance in the woods!
  Magical ride to the top of the mountain where you can enjoy the most spectacular views of Puerto Vallarta and Banderas Bay. Colorful wildflowers, dense vegetation and birds can be seen all along the trail. Photographer and birdwatchers delight.
  3 Hours, $60 US. Monday through Saturday, 4:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m. Children welcome. Operates all year.
• Fascinating Waterfall Ride In the Mountain - A unique experience with your horse!
  Climb up the Sierra Madre Mountain with scenic views to our secluded waterfall. If circumstances permit, your english speaking guide may invite you to swim with your horse. Descend the other side of the mountain to Playa Grande village for a served lunch at Dona Chila's rustic restaurant. Your first drink (beer, soft drink or bottled water is included).
  5 Hours, $78 US. Monday thru Friday. 10 a.m.-3:00 p.m. Children welcome from 8 years and up.
• English Riding Lessons - Learn to ride during your vacation!
  60 minute lessons with MVZ. Adrian Gonzalez Torres who will introduce you to the Equestrian world.
  $45 US per hour. $40 US per lesson during a week. $35 US per lesson for 2 weeks or more. 6 years old and up.
