My 2 sisters and I accidentally stumbled upon Puerto Escondido while traveling in Oaxaca Mexico in 1998. I fell in love instantly meeting wonderful people from all over the world. I went home to NY and was able to persuade my husband Mack to move here for retirement. I am not much for sitting around to do nothing and have not retired or slowed down...yet.

Our youngest children, 37 and 30, were extremely reluctant when we first told them of our plans to move to Mexico. It took only one visit and they too have since fallen in love with our new environs.
