Hotels in Puebla are inexpensive, compared to the Mexican larger beach resorts, and the offerings are varied. If you are so inclined, you may stay in a thoroughly modern, high-rise hotel, or a historical boutique hotel, or go the more economical route and choose from a plethora of nice budget hotels right in the center of town. The tap water in most hotels and resorts is purified and drinkable. However, it is wise to clarify this at the time of your check-in. potable water is usually made available in most hotels. Most hotels and resorts accept credit cards readily. On the other hand, the smaller and economy oriented ones may not.
