Professionalism: Our team consists of 4 Architects, 3 Civil Engineers, 36 Construction Workers and several subcontractors that work together to satisfy
your construction needs.
Quality: Our products are always the best quality. All of our electric and plumbing fixtures are purchased directly at Home Depot. We will help you request
warranties, if needed, on any of the products from their stores.
Reliability: You can find us any time. Our office is located on the El Dorado Ranch property and someone from the construction team will always be there to help you.
Warranties: Every new house will have small punch list items. Mi Casita's policy is to work with our customers up to one year from when occupancy of the home is taken.
We will work during that year to guarantee your satisfaction should problems arise.
Worker benefits: One of the most important things to consider while building in Mexico is the construction workers rights and benefits. Social Security is one of
the benefits that all of our workers receive. This is an insurance paid for the workers, that if not covered, the house owner is liable to government fines, hospital payments
or even death expense payments if one of the workers has an accident while working on the house. Mi Casita has all of our workers covered. Other benefits received by our workers
are: Paid Vacations (by law), Christmas bonus (by law) and Savings Fund among others.
Manager: Ricardo Montano manages Mi Casita. Born in Cananea, Sonora, Mexico, Ricardo went to primary school in his home town. He advanced his education in Mexicali, Baja California,
where he obtained his college degree and graduated from architecture school in 1988. Ricardo joined El Dorado and San Felipe Beach Club in 1993. At that time he had 10 years of architectural
experience in a wide variety of architectural and construction work. Shortly after arriving here, Ricardo became one of the first architects to utilize straw bale construction. During his
tenure with El Dorado Ranch, Mr. Montano has managed a wide variety of home construction at the Ranch. He has been extremely pleased to see El Dorado Ranch grow into the largest solar community
in North America, the introduction of San Felipe's first 18-hole championship golf course, and surrounding community of La Ventana Del Mar. He takes pride in the environmental approach utilized
in home construction at the Ranch.
