All the bungalows are situated directly on the white beach, at a distance of only 20 meters from the sea. During the day its an excellent place from where you can watch the many seabirds catching their fish. Or just sit there and stare at the waves breaking on the reef. We recommend staying with us a few days before full moon. Our Beach Restaurant Each bungalow has also a beach-terrace with 2 hammocks. In front of every bungalow there is a small palapa on the beach. Also with a hammock and beach-chairs. Our beach resort has a beach-front restaurant. We offer a variety of Mexican, Oriental and European flavors. And, of course, your favorite drinks and cocktails. we are famous for our Stuffed Pineapple. Don't miss it ! Things to do at Hotel Maya Luna In front of the beach passes The Mesoamerican Barrier Reef, stretching from Honduras to Mexico. Its the second largest, living coral reef in the world. This barrier offers excellent possibilities for snorkeling and diving. Maya Luna works with several independent tour operators and dive shops. Just let us know what activities you plan to do during your stay at our beach resort. We will get you into contact with the right tour operator. We can arrange dive, snorkel, fly-fishing and trawling tours; all with experienced captains and instructors. Many guests have been lucky to run into dolphins in open waters.
