Luz en Yucatan offers an urban retreat housed in an historic once colonial convent in the heart of downtown Merida. Our residence is a short walk from theaters, museums, markets, shops, restaurants, and movie houses.

Our rooms, studios and apartments are charming and comfortable. Most open onto a breezy open-air terrace or private patios. Should you wish to dine al fresco or socialize with other guests, this is a perfect venue to do so.

Apartments and studios are fully furnished, including dishes and linens, and require guests to bring nothing more than personal effects.

All of our accommodations have bathrooms, at least one queen size bed, quiet air conditioning, cable TV, fridges, coffee makers and unlimited purified drinking water. Our studios have kitchenettes while apartments have kitchenettes and sitting areas.

Our guests enjoy the use of a lovely courtyard pool, many common sitting rooms, terraces, a family kitchen and dining room. We offer in-house spa services, such as massage, facials, manicures, and pedicures.
