Luz en Yucatan offers apartment rentals housed in a historic colonial building in the heart of downtown Merida. Our residence is a short walk from theaters, museums, markets, shops, restaurants, and movie houses.

Our apartments are charming and comfortable. All open onto a breezy open-air terrace. Should you wish to dine al fresco or socialize with other guests, this is a perfect venue to do so. Apartments are fully furnished, including dishes and linens, and require guests to bring nothing more than personal effects. We have two types of apartments: studio and one-bedroom.

Our studio has a room with a kitchenette and bathroom. It has air conditioning and cable television. Purified water is provided in this and all other apartments.

Our one bedroom apartments have a sitting room, a kitchenette, bathroom, and bedroom (with air conditioning and cable television).

Our guests enjoy the use of a lovely courtyard pool, many common sitting rooms, and a community dining room. We offer in-house spa services, such as massage, facials, manicures, and pedicures. Guests are invited to participate in water aerobics classes. Yoga, salsa, and Spanish language classes are available at reasonable rates.

Rentals are available by the day, week, or month. Our manager resides in house, and is available to assist in arranging tours. We are here to maximize your experience in the Yucatan. We look forward to meeting you and having you visit with us in this magical city.
