Blue and Grey Whale Tour Information

The Arrival of the Giants!
Every year in the month of January the islands of Loreto National Marine Park become home for 9 different species of Whales; Blue, Finback, Sei, Sperm, Minke, Pilot, Orcas, Humpback and a few California Gray Whales, and to large schools of Bottlenose Dolphins, sometimes numbering in the thousands! These magnificent Mammals remain within the confines of the Park until late March, sometimes their journey extends a little later until the month of May.

A challenge of a task!
Due to the complexity involved and the knowledge required in getting close to these Whales, only a handful of companies offer these tours. The Blue Whale tours are considered to be the greatest adventure and experience that anyone can wish to participate in. These giant Mammals can reach over 100 feet in length, and weigh over 150 tons, and often we get to see these whales from touching distance.

The Gentle Giants!
Every year in the month of January the Pacific Lagoons of the Baja Peninsula become home for the migrating Gray Whales. Thousand of tourists come from all over the world to experience this Nature Marvel! As seen in many documentaries, the Gray Whales approach the boats and often guests are able to touch the whales. These giant Mammals can reach 45 feet in length, and weigh about 30 tons, and often we get to touch them as seen in our pictures.
