The Instituto Mexicano de Espaņol y Cultura ( IMEC ) is a Spanish Language School that focuses on developing communication skills and understanding Mexican Culture through our Immersion Program. With more than twenty years of experience teaching Spanish to non-native speakers, our teachers use the latest teaching methodology to innovate our courses.

At IMEC, we offer courses at all levels. Classes begin every Monday throughout the year and run 6 hours a day, Monday through Friday, with no more than 5 students per group. Our afternoon cultural activities enrich larger groups with a variety of course offerings. At the same time we remain committed to provide our students with personal attention. Naturally, private classes are also available.

Upon arrival, our students take a placement exam to determine their level of proficiency. The length of the course depends on the studentīs level and objectives. We at IMEC are very flexible and we can adapt easily to studentīs necessities. Programs can be tailored to the studentīs needs, intergrating work-related vocabulary into the program if it is so desired.
