Day 1 - Arrive in Merida, meet your tour director at the airport and transfer to your selected hotel.

Day 2 - Merida City Tour: Pick up at your hotel at 9:00 AM. Visit the Zocalo (main square), the Governors Palace, the Cathedral, Paseo de Montejo Blvd. and the Anthropology and History Museum. Free afternoon.

Day 3 - Free Morning. Uxmal: Pick up at your hotel at 12 noon. Visit the archaeological site of Uxmal, the city built three times. A guided visit of the area by a bilingual guide. At night, we'll attend the magnificent "Light & Sound Show". Late Return to Merida.

Day 4 - Chichen Itza: Pick up at your hotel at 9:00 AM. Today we will explore the capital of the Mayan civilization, Chichen Itza. Visit the incredible pyramids and ruins. Guided visit of the site by a bilingual guide for 3 hrs. Return to Merida.

Day 5 - At scheduled time, transfer to the airport for your homebound flight.

Day 1 - Arrive in Merida. Meet your tour director at the airport and transfer to your hotel. Dinner at the hotel. Your tour director will lead a walking tour around the Zocalo (main square).

Day 2 - Merida City Tour. Breakfast at the hotel. Tour of Merida, founded by the Spanish conquistadors in 1542. Visit the Cathedral, the Governor's Palace, and Paseo de Montejo Blvd. with it's magnificent mansions. Continue to the beaches of Progreso, eat lunch on your own, and return to Merida. Afternoon visit of the local market led by your tour director. Dinner at the hotel.

Day 3 - Merida - Uxmal. Breakfast at the hotel. Visit the ecological reserve of Celestun, home of the pink flamingos. You will be able to watch them closely as you approach in a quiet boat. Then on to Uxmal, the city built three times, and the biggest Mayan city in the Puuc Region. Guided visit of Uxmal. Dinner in a nearby restaurant. At 7:00 PM will return to the site in order to attend the "Light & Sound" show, a breathtaking experience. Return to Merida.

Day 4 - Merida - Valladolid. Breakfast at the hotel. Today's journey takes us to the most impressive and important city in Mayan civilization, Chichen Itza. Guided visit of the site including old Chichen. Lunch on your own in a nearby restaurant. Continue to X-Keken Cenote, an underground lake where we'll be able to swim and cool off. Check into the hotel in Valladolid, a charming Spanish colonial city with great atmosphere. Dinner at the Hotel featuring Yucatecan cuisine.

Day 5 - Valladolid - Cancun. Early in the morning, right after breakfast, we'll head to Tulum, a Mayan city in front of the Mexican Caribbean. The perfect spot to have a scenic picture taken. Guided visit of the site. Continue to Xel-Ha, a natural inlet where you'll be able to snorkel, swim with lots of tropical fish or just relax at the beach. Transfer to Cancun and check into your hotel. Your tour director will lead a tour to the shopping centers by public transportation. Dinner at the hotel.

Day 6 - Cancun. Breakfast at the hotel. Free day to enjoy yourself in Cancun. Ask your tour director for different activities in Cancun like a nice cruise to Isla Mujeres, jungle tours, shopping options, parasailing, etc. Dinner at the hotel.

Day 7 - Cancun. Breakfast at the hotel. Check with your tour director for optional activities in Cancun. Shopping in downtown Cancun is great for souvenirs. Or just tan yourself at the beach. Farewell dinner at a local restaurant.

Day 8 - Cancun - Home. Breakfast at the hotel. At scheduled time, transfer to the airport for your homebound flight.
