As we draw closer to Hook the Cure #4, we are closing in on the $1 Million mark! Thanks to our incredible sponsors, anglers, duffers & spa aficionados, last year's $450,000 brought us that much closer to our biggest catch yet - a cure for cystic fibrosis. We plan to keep the momentum rolling this year as we descend upon Puerto Vallarta November 5 - 8, 2009. With all-inclusive accommodations, gourmet meals, social events, special guests, live entertainment, awards, prizes and fabulous auction items, this year's I.G.F.A - qualifier fishing tournament, golf tournament and spa adventure will be the best yet!

Spa, golf, fish, relax or choose any combination - Hook the Cure is a true "feel good" vacation, as all proceeds benefit the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. In addition to searching for a cure, CFF also works very hard to provide treatments and therapies to enhance the quality of life for children and adults with Cystic Fibrosis. Villa Premiere Hotel and Spa, an 83-room beachfront hotel, is located just a short walk from the heart of downtown PV and two miles from the airport and marina. Upon arrival you will be greeted with a glass of champagne, cold towel and a 5-minute massage. As every angler is thrilled with a winning catch, the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation anticipates the "hook-up" of a lifetime - a cure for Cystic Fibrosis. Cystic Fibrosis is the most common, fatal genetic disease and affects over 30,000 children and young adults. It causes the body to produce abnormally thick mucus that clogs the lungs and other major organs, leading to chronic lung infections, malnutrition and liver damage, and eventually early death. One in 31 Americans - 10 million people - carry the CF gene. Working together against this life-threatening illness, we are moving closer every day to hook the cure.
