Mexican Dental Care & Dental Vacations
For decades, Americans seeking affordable dental care have been day tripping across the US and Mexican border. Mexican dental training is as good as back home with Mexican dentists often using the same equipment and materials ordered from the same suppliers as their counterparts back in the USA. Mexican dentists go to dental college for 4 years, after graduation they then perform a year of public service in a government clinic, before they enter private practice. Many go on to specialist schools for another 2- 3 yrs.

Tijuana over the decades has hosted tens of thousands of American dental patients, while in recent years; Cabo San Lucas has received much US media attention as dentists have cultivated a niche market in Cabo for dental vacations. This attention has resulted in Cabo surgeons, doctors and dentists being featured on National Geographic, The Discovery Channel, ABC Good Morning America, The NBC Today Show, and in the NY Times.

Dental vacations are simply where one enjoys a free vacation off their savings on dental work in an exotic vacation resort destination such as Cabo, Cancun, Mazatlan or Puerto Vallarta. Some resort cities like Cabo boast fine dining, championship golf courses, big game fishing, power shopping in designer malls and dental care from some of Mexico's top dentists who moved to Baja to practice in paradise.

Mexico is only 1 to 5 hours away by air from all major US and Canadian cities making it the perfect solution to one's dental health care crisis. All you need is your passport and you're in. You'll discover world-class hotels in most of Mexico's resort communities and even some border cities such as Tijuana. Some clinics offer free taxi service from the border or airport, and some help with accommodations.
