The Shelter Program

The Shelter Program provides invaluable assistance for manufacturers by performing all the necessary administrative requirements in Mexico. Relocating your production to Mexico will result in reduced production costs and overhead costs. Co-Production International (CPI) offers an immediate turnaround between 30-60 days allowing the manufacturer to become fully operational.
Contract Manufacturing

The manufacturer enters into a sub-contracting agreement with CPI to manufacture products of a specified quality and quantity at a pre-determined unit price. The sub-contractor is a Mexican corporation, usually a maquiladora, not affiliated with the U.S. Manufacturer. CPI handles the sub-contracting internally or hires an experienced maquiladora to handle production. In either situation, CPI is responsible for the sub-contracting work. The product is assembled to meet the manufacturers’ specification in quality and standards. CPI and the manufacturer agree upon a monthly production schedule to meet the manufacturer’s demands. Seasonal work must be specified in the sub-contracting agreement.
