The Cuernavaca Language School was founded in 1960 by Dr. Ivan Illich as the "Centro Intercultural de Documentación", better known as CIDOC. For nearly forty years we at the Cuernavaca Language School have been perfecting an effective methodology to teach Spanish as a second language.We are the oldest school of its kind in Cuernavaca and our alumni around the world number in the thousands.

Cuernavaca is located about 85 km.(50 miles) south of Mexico City on the M-95 freeway, and is the capital of the state of Morelos. The metropolitan population is around one million, but the city retains its unique character and flavor of a smaller town. The city is rich in history and it offers a unique and charming blend of pre-hispanic, colonial and modern Mexico.
