The American owner has updated the two apartments to provide a unique, private and secure atmosphere not found in larger hotels. Guests receive keys to the outer gate and their rooms, limiting building access to guests only.

Cielito Lindo is the only apartment style guest house located both on the beach and in town, providing the convenience of being within no more than a 3 minute walk to town restaurants, shopping, nightspots, the town market, post office, bank......and the beach is right across the street.

We are located just four short blocks left from the ferry docks, at the beginning of beautiful North Beach, the main swimming beach.

What You Can Expect: Operated on a housekeeping basis: linens, beach blankets, and supplies are furnished. Each unit has a bath, furnished kitchenette, one double and one twin bed, and a living area with couch, arm chairs, and dining table for 4.......Color Cable TV, ceiling fan, A/C (optional), shelves stocked with books, and balconies facing Isla Mujeres Bay with views of palms, the beach, and sunsets each evening. Kitchenettes include refrigerators, microwaves, sinks, Mr. Coffee machines, 5 gallon purified water decanters and kitchenware.

Both units are on the second floor, with all glass front sliding doors opeing to the balcony and facing the beach. Apt. #1 has an additional balcony on the garden side, and also has a 2 burner gas cooktop for more food preparation capability.

Deposits & Payment: We can only accept payment in cash (either US dollars or pesos) or US traveler’s checks. Sorry, we cannot accept personal checks on banks outside of Mexico when you are here on the island, and we are too small to qualify to accept credit cards. Reservation deposits, however, can be made by personal check or bank wire transfer to our bank in the US or by sending traveler's checks or bank orders via messenger service to Isla Mujeres. Reservations will be confirmed upon receipt of deposits.

We require a 50% deposit to confirm a reservation, and ask for a $50 damage fee to hold as security, which will be returned to you upon departure, if there is no damage to the room or furnishings. Remainder of the room fee is payable upon check-in.

Note: Out of respect for other guests, we limit occupancy to two persons per room, and do not accept kids or teens. Stays must be for 3 nights or more.

Getting Here: From the Cancun airport, take a taxi to Puerto Juarez. Ferries to the island run continuously, departing every half hour from 6am till 8:30pm. Fare is 35 pesos or about $3.50 USD, the trip takes about 20 minutes. From the ferry dock entrance (on Isla Mujeres), Cielito is four short blocks to your immediate left on the first and main beach street. Taxis and "tricycle" luggage carts are based at the ferry dock to give you help with your luggage. Although if you packed light, it's not a long walk. Look for the blue banner with our logo.
