Casa Maya is a unique Mexican coastal-style home built in 2012 by skilled native artisans using palm fronds, aged woods, hand-hewn stone and tile. It is perched directly on oceanfront with sandy beach on one side, and an infinity pool lapping from the other direction right into the living room. The surf break, with swimming beach and pods of whales, is visible as you sip your coffee from the palapa-thatched living area. This artistic space includes a marble dining table with tree root base seating ten, lazy ceiling fans, two giant pillowed lounge couches, and a shady pergola directly off the edge of the pool. A spacious chef's kitchen with wet bar and walk-in pantry is central, the woodwork capturing authentic Mexican tradition, punctuated by a swirled shell backdrop and pounding ocean surf.
