We are a luxuriously appointed hotel and vacation rental located on the beach in Playa Troncones, Mexico, a short drive from Ixtapa.

Casa Las Piedras was designed by Enrique Zozaya, pre-eminent Mexican architect from Ixtapa-Zihuatanejo. Zozaya is known for his use of local materials in the luxury villas, guest houses, and hotels he has built across the Mexican Riviera.

The open design of the common areas creates a sense of intimacy with the natural environment. Rising from the center of the sitting area are double tree trunks supporting the tall, vaulted ceiling. A floating circular staircase leads to the Tango Suite. The sound of the surf and ocean breezes fill the air.

The living and dining areas front the pool, pergola, and gardens, providing many spots for privacy and relaxation. A platform to enjoy yoga practice and evening sunsets overlooks the ocean. A path from the pool leads down to the beach.

Suites & Rooms
In Casa Las Piedras we have four comfortable suites and rooms with beautiful decorations inspired by the sun, the moon, flowers or the fancy Tango Suite. You can also rent the whole house, for details please contact us.

Entire Villa
A weekly house rental commencing on Saturday is also available up to 12 people. We serve a full breakfast daily and also include access to the kitchen as to all the facilities of the Villa.

Dining
A sumptuous breakfast is provided as part of your stay, whether you book a room or rent the entire house. We can also prepare delicious Mexican fare for our guests and small gatherings. Great food is available in local restaurants, as well as in Zihuatanejo-Ixtapa.

Beach Activities & Eco Tours
We are located on Playa Troncones, a 5-mile long sandy beach interspersed with rock formations and tidal pools. The beach is a popular spot for surfing, horseback riding, swimming, and birdwatching. Manzanillo Bay is within easy walking distance. We can arrange surfing instruction and board rentals for you. Eco Tours can also be arranged upon request.
