After exploring much of Mexico, we fell in love with Rincón de Guayabitos, on the Bay of Jaltemba, only an hour north of Puerto Vallarta. This peaceful community has beautiful beaches lined with palm trees, and the gentle warm surf provides relaxing year-round swimming, snorkeling, and kayaking.

Other activities to consider during your stay are horseback riding, bird watching, shopping the Thursday Market in the neighboring town of La Penita, sightseeing, whale watching, turtle watching, and sport fishing for such fish as dorado, huachinango, sierra and mero. We also have inflatable kayaks available to rent for cruising, or snorkeling trips to the island.

Casa De Los Pelicanos offers beautiful views of the beach, the island, the Ecological Park, and the Sierra Madre Mountains. The courtyard and private terraces offer private areas to enjoy your morning coffee, or evening cocktail while watcing the colorful sunsets.

During the day, you can relax by our pool, or walk 75 steps from our front gate to the beach. For your lunch or dinner, take a short walk down the beach to one of the many fine restaurants in Guayabitos.

Breakfast is served every morning by the pool and includes fresh fruits and juices, freshly baked local pastries, yogurt, cereal and locally grown coffee.
