  CABO SAN LUCAS FISHING REPORT

    Billfish released in 2009: 76
 1/25/2009 Back on the World Famous EL BUDSTER. James Suggs from Fort Smith, AK catches and releases a 130 lb. STRIPED MARLIN. It is caught on a live Pacific Mackerel. The fighting time was 40 minutes. His party also catches ten SIERRA MACKEREL. They were all about 3 - 5 lbs. Fishing on the EL BUDSTER II. The Preston Walker party from Bishop, CA catches fifteen SIERRA MACKEREL( 3 - 5 lbs. ) All the fish were caught at the Golden Gate Reef. The water temp. was 74 - 77 degrees.
 1/24/2009 Back on the World Famous EL BUDSTER. The James Suggs group has another good day. They catch and release one 130 lb. STRIPED MARLIN. It was caught on a live Pacific Mackerel. The fighting time was 40 minutes. They also catch one 25 lb. DORADO and ten SIERRA MACKEREL. On the EL BUDSTER II. Markus Brede and Jorgen Konig combine to catch a 130 lb. STRIPED MARLIN. It is caught on a live Pacific Mackerel. The fighting time was 45 minutes. All the fish were caught at the Golden Gate Reef. The water temp. was 74 - 76 degrees.
 1/23/2009 Fishing on the World Famous EL BUDSTER. The James Suggs party from Fort Smith, AR have a very good day. They catch and release three STRIPED MARLIN ( 110 - 120 - 180 lbs.) That is correct. The one STRIPED MARLIN is 180 lbs. The fighting time was 1.5 hrs.. The other two take 40 & 45 minutes. All three were caught on live Pacific Mackerel. On the EL BUDSTER II. The Stephen Green party from Calgary, Alberta, Canada catches and releases two STRIPED MARLIN ( 120 & 130 lbs.) The fighting times were 40 & 45 minutes. Both were caught on live Pacific Mackerel. All the marlin were caught at the Golden Gate Reef. The water temp. was 74 - 76 degrees.
 1/22/2009 Fishing on the World Famous EL BUDSTER. The Derek Walkom party from Spruce Grove, Alberta, Canada has a fine day. They catch & release two STRIPED MARLIN ( 100 & 120 lbs.) Both were caught on live Pacific Mackerel. The fighting times were 40 & 45 minutes. On the EL BUDSTER II. The David Bogle party from Bentonville, AR have a FANTASTIC DAY. They catch and release EIGHT STRIPED MARLIN. All the marlin were between 100 -145 lbs. They were all caught on live Pacific Mackerel. The fighting times were all between 25 - 45 minutes. All the fish were caught at the Golden Gate Reef. The water temp. was 76 - 78 degrees
 1/21/2009 Fishing on the World Famous EL BUDSTER. The Dean Myers party from St. Albert, Alberta, Canada have a fine day. They catch & release two STRIPED MARLIN( 110 & 120 lbs.) Both were caught on live Pacific Mackerel. The fighting times were 40 & 45 minutes. They also catch eight SIERRA MACKEREL. On the EL BUDSTER II. Pertti Naveri from Surrey, British Columbia, Canada catches and releases a 120 lb. STRIPED MARLIN. It is caught on a live Pacific Mackerel. The fighting time was 45 minutes. They also catch and release a 30 lb. HAMMERHEAD SHARK. All the fish were caught 12 - 14 miles out from Cabo. The water temp. was 76 - 78 degrees.
 1/20/2009 Fishing inshore on the World Famous EL BUDSTER. The Michael Deteresa party from Hillsborough, NJ has a fine day. They catch a 20 & 25 lb. DORADO. They also catch ten SIERRA MACKEREL ( all about 5 lbs.) and a 10 lb. RED SNAPPER. They fished close to shore. The water temp. was 72 -75 degrees
 1/19/2009 There were no fish caught today on the World Famous EL BUDSTER. The people who chartered the boat wanted to catch YELLOWFIN TUNA. It was explained that they would have to go 25 miles out to try and find the tuna. The people were also told that they might not catch anything.It was also explained to them that they might not catch anything. The water temp. was 76 - 78 degrees.
