transportation to and from the Cabo airport (airport code SJD,
located in San Jose del Cabo) MUST be booked in advance if you wish to
avoid taking the taxis (which can be rather expensive) or shuttles (you can
wait an hour or more while the van gets filled) that seem to be your only
apparent options once you land. But there are others. Don't say we didn't warn you!
One little
known fact and definitely not promoted at the airport are the
inexpensive and reliable public buses that you can catch at the ALTO
sign on the return loop near Terminal 1. These buses run regularly
along the Corridor from the airport down to San Jose and Cabo San
Lucas. If you arrive at Terminal 3 you will have to hoof it to Terminal

Once
you're here there are so many ways to enjoy Los Cabos, it
will be a challenge to pack all the activities available to you during
your vacation. These activities include ATVing on the beach and through
the desert, mountain biking, horseback riding and zip lining above the

Santos, Cabo San Lucas and San Jose del Cabo.
