"Brazos Abiertos" means "open arms" in Spanish
These rental units are so named because visitors to Zihuatanejo and this lovely property will feel that they
have been welcomed by a gracious host and old friend.
Zihuatanejo, although no longer a quaint fishing village, magically makes even
first-time visitors feel like they are coming home. It is small and friendly, and easy
to navigate.
The condo units are beautifully appointed and the property is serene. A rental
agent, who lives on site, greets guests and offers information about Zihuatanejo
to ensure a wonderful visit.
The condos, which comprise Brazos Abiertos, are located in a small complex just
half a block from beautiful La Ropa Beach.
General Description & Location
There is a large pool with lap lane, and a shaded palapa amid the landscape grounds.
The complex employs a full-time gardener, pool man, and 24-hour security guards.
La Ropa beach has excellent restaurants open for causal breakfast and lunch, or an
elegant dinner. Along the mile long stretch of white sand there is a full range of water activities,
as well as shaded hammocks and chaises for quiet reading.
It is a half-hour walk or 5 minutes by taxi to the town center ("el centro"), and Ixtapa is 15
minutes away. Taxis are plentiful, and an inexpensive "combi" bus runs every half an hour
from La Ropa to Centro.
The Condo Units
Two third floor condos share a balcony and can be rented together or separately. One condo
is ideal for two adults and the other can accommodate two adults and two children.
Two first floor condos are perfect for families with young children or for those wanting to avoid stairs.
The units have fully equipped kitchens, linens and bath towels. Guests bring their own beach towels. Units with bunk beds also have a washer/dryer.
These are self-catering apartments. Maid service is not everyday. Sheets are changed once a week;
towels changed every three days. The maid cleans each unit around the middle of a seven-day stay.
ALL UNITS ARE ENTIRELY NON-SMOKING, EVEN ON THE PATIO
