Hotel Hacienda Blanca Flor is located in the heart of the Mayan World, in the State of Campeche not far from Yucatan State. A former Hacienda restored and transformed into a Hotel. Built in the XVII Century and carefully restored, Hacienda Blanca Flor´s main arcade majestically leads to the Harmon of its central courtyard, a beautiful garden of flowers and greenery. During the "War of Castas" (1843) Blanca Flor served as fortress of the Spaniards, where they fought back the attack of Mayan natives. During then The wife of the Emperor Maximilian, stayed in Blanca Flor way back from Merida to Mexico City (1865). During the Mexican Revolution, Blanca Flor was the government of Yucatan´s last place of defense as it fought against the integrationist politics of the Federal government (1917). The ancient church of the Hacienda still keeps vestiges of that fight. The Hacienda was captured. All occupants were killed with the exception of one young man who survived a "coup de grace". Nowadays, Hacienda Blanca Flor has been restored and has become a Hotel. Its 20 rooms have air conditioning and fans. There are also six cabins with a Mayan construction that are also very comfortable. The Hotel also offers you an excellent Restaurant with regional and international cuisine. It also offers a conference Room, swimming pool, horses, bicycles and tropical gardens.
