DINING
Tijuana offers a variety of international flavors in its restaurants - fresh seafood, high quality Sonoran beef, and great Asian cuisine. The culinary delights of France, Argentina, Italy, and Spain can also be found at many restaurants. Tijuana also has great fast food such as tacos, burritos, and fresh juice drinks. You'll even find American chain restaurants throughout town. Be sure to buy a bag of churros from one of the many street vendors. Churros are a long donut-like pastry covered in sugar and make for a great treat when they are hot.
NIGHTLIFE
Bars, discos, and clubs abound in this city. At night be prepared for an onslaught on young Americans and Tijuanans drinking buckets of beers and dancing to the latest music. The drinking age is only 18 and the bars along Avenida Revolucion and in Zona Rio are packed with young people letting loose. During the day many of these same bars have specials for the wandering tourists on margaritas and cervezas. Those of you who prefer a somewhat quieter scene will find jazz clubs, piano bars, etc. around the Zona Rio and in some of the fine hotels in the city.
