We have pioneered many of the legendary dive sites in the Sea of Cortes and, in fact, Amigos Del Mar pioneered recreational diving in Cabo San Lucas back in the 1970's. 
Amigos Del Mar was honored by a visit from PADI in the summer of 2014 to present a special recognition award. Amigos Del Mar has been affiliated with the PADI organization for over 25 years. No other SCUBA diving operation in the Los Cabo and southern Baja area can make that statement. A PADI regional Vice-President flew down from San Diego to congratulate Amigos Del Mar on their successful and safe diving operation and to present them with a recognition trophy to acknowledge the long standing relationship.
