Rosarito To Ensenada Bike Ride, Fall 2004

Rosarito to Ensenada Bike Ride - Duff Man
As I started to pass through the pack, it was great seeing people dressed up in wacky outfits for the event. Hey look, it's the Duff Beer Man from the Simpsons ... on roller skates! Wow, if I was going to go for 50 miles on skates I'd bring my own beer supply too.

Rosarito to Ensenada Bike Ride - Pancho Villa
Viva la Revolucion! How lucky to catch a glimpse of Pancho Villa on a bicycle, he was all smiles on that day. Now those are some really nice cycling shoes, lots of ventilation for cool, comfortable feet, just watch out for the cactus.

Rosarito to Ensenada Bike Ride - Halfway House
After several more miles, the ride reached the first of several watering stations, here at the "Half Way House". With several thousand riders on the road it was a little chaotic, but everyone took their time, there was plenty of water on hand, and handy bathroom facilities as well.

Rosarito to Ensenada Bike Ride - Halfway House 2
Now that my water bottles were full again, I just needed to get headed in the right direction and merge with the cycling traffic. Brake pad seems to be holding up just fine at this point, what are we supposed to do with these cups again??
