mexonline.com Feature Story: June 1999
In June, much of Mexico begins to warm up noticeably, and the tourist season starts to slow down a bit for the summer months. This is when hotels and shop owners think about making repairs, before it gets too hot to work. And that's how it is here in our office. With the chaos a little more under control, we are taking advantage of the small breather to release our newest feature.

This first issue of the Newsletter is a collection of contributions sent to us by regulars to the mexonline.com web site. It covers everything from travel, history, social commentary, and a little humor. The perfect blend of stories for what we plan to make a monthly feature here. We want to thank our writes for their efforts, and hope you enjoy them as well. Rolf Metzger - Editor.

Tales Of The Heart,
Puerto Escondido / Puerto Angel by Kenneth Richard. Ken takes us on a memorable journey to mythical Oaxaca, in Southern Mexico.

El Pípila,
